Introduction of Ball Mill
Quartz sand ball mill is a critical equipment in the quartz sand production line. In the processing of quartz sand for glass and ceramics industry, raw materials need to avoid contamination by other substances, usually with silica liner or white alundum liner, grinding media also need to use White alundum ball or silica ball. Therefore, SiO2 is the main component of two types of liner and grinding media, avoiding contamination of the processing materials.
Quartz sand is an important industrial mineral raw materials, non-hazardous chemicals, widely used in glass, foundry, ceramics and refractories, smelting ferrosilicon, metallurgical flux, metallurgical, construction, chemical, plastics, rubber, abrasive and other industries.

Quartz Sand Ball Mill Working Principle:
When the ball mill works, motor and speed reducer transmit torque force to big and small gears of ball mill, so the barrel rotates. When the barrel rotates, Steel balls or other grinding media in the barrel are lifted to a certain height and fall down freely, so materials in the barrel are impacted. Grinding media mixing with materials impact and grind materials continuously. The grinding media and materials impact and grind each other when the ball mill rotates continuously. The final product will be discharged from outlet when it meets the request, so the grinding process is finished.
