Alumina Ceramic Lined Ball Mill in Mineral Separation , Final Product 0.1-0.074mm
Introduction of Alumina Ceramic Lined Ball Mill
Ceramic lined ball mill also named Intermittent ball mill which adopts the wet intermittent operation, is used for fine grinding and mixing the material such as feldspar, quartz, clay ceramic raw materials.
Ball mill is one kind of grinding equipment. In mineral separation, only few high-grade ore can be smelt directly after crushing and screening. Most of ores must be grinded to 0.1-0.074mm or even much finer in order to be smelt. Grinding is an important procedure in mineral separation. It's better to use fine mill instead of coarse mill. In fine grinding, the general size of the materials are 65mm and the most suitable size is less than 6mm.
Features of Alumina Ceramic Lined Ball Mill
1. Large application range, simple structure and convenient maintenance;
2. Large capacity and continuous work are obvious advantages;
3. Various barrel lining and grinding media, excellent corrosion resistance;
4. Installation and adjustment are very convenient and easy to operate
Working Principle of Alumina Ceramic Lined Ball Mill
The ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding processes finished.
